Every time we hear of an earthquake, hurricane, tornado, storm, fire or any emergency caused by natural disasters or mans craziness (terrorism, chemical or nuclear attacks) it is a reminder each household needs a disaster preparedness plan.

 

Following a disaster, the first 72 hours are critical. Electricity, gas, water and telephones may not be working.  Public safety services will unlikely be able to reach/rescue you quickly.

 

Be prepared to be self-sufficient - able to live without running water, the commodities and comfort of modern urban life - for at least three days following a disaster, you must survive by yourself.

 

Whatever the case is, you are Wise for making an emergency plan for the road in your car, home, work/office or even school. You are ready for basic or full preparedness to insure the sheltering or urban evacuation for your survival along with your family, employees or people under your care and responsibility.

 

The terminology used by Survivalists and Preppers is now common amongst Americans and we carry those kits/tools.
